About Tiph
I'm Tiph, a multidisciplinary creative based in New York City. I currently hold an Associate in Applied Science degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photojournalism from George Washington University. Outside of those qualifications, I have facilitated workshops and developed curriculum for learners of all ages and also offered remote and in-person tutoring sessions since 2015.

In college, I realized that the classes I enjoyed most were project-based versus lecture-based. Allowing students to have the freedom to learn by doing gave me space to play, try, and fail at new skills in a low-stress environment. I try to bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach and do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience. Each student can expect an individualized lesson plan custom-tailored to your specific learning needs and goals, whether that is completing a homework assignment or learning a new skill. I'm really great at connecting students to online and offline resources to help further their knowledge of a particular software or skill.
