About Hector
I've just graduated high school and now I'm going to Imperial College.
I don't really believe in long repetitive methods of teaching where you boringly do one exercise after another: in these, all you do is retain stuff. What will you do when you forget in the middle of an exam?
Rather, I believe in really understanding the subject first and build an intuition, so that even when you don't know your content, you can build on the first principles you know and build your own lesson from there.
I always try to keep my lessons relaxed and open so here you don't feel the stress of school at all.

I don't just teach you to memorise the content: with me, you'll be able to understand what goes on behind the scenes.
Why do you need this specifically?
Understanding how a subject works fundamentally is the key to adaptability in any future assignments.
So that you understand the subject better, I always try to give an intuitive approach first, and then build on that to give you a rigorous understanding. I use analogies and fun examples to make you understand!
This is my first time as an official tutor, but all through high school, I've been tutoring and teaching my classmates which helped get many through the year. I've also been told that the way I explain things makes it easier to understand the lesson and content.
The fact I did the French Baccalaureate might be daunting to some, but I can assure you I am fluent in English and know the content.
This is aimed at any GCSE or A level student wanting to better their grades or simply (begin to) understand a subject better and reach for that A*.
