About Lucie
I’m 29 and first studied and worked in Geneva, French-speaking Switzerland. I’m half-French and half-Swiss, two similar-but-different French-speaking cultures.
I decided to go back to University in England as I love learning and see it as great personal development. Studying in English was for me an opportunity to master completely another language, and open my mind.
I’m caring and patient and will try my best to make you see your classes as something positive for you and your future, not simply an obligation.

I first studied journalism and worked for a newspaper for six years. My job was to create interesting stories and use words to convey meaning and intention.
French is a beautiful language and a beautiful culture. Grammar can be tricky but I’ll always try to make you see the bigger picture. We’ll go through exercises knowing why we’re learning it.
French literature is my passion and I can’t wait to share reading tips and cultural facts.
