About Gianna
My passion for French began with admiration for its literary richness, cultural depth, and expressive elegance as a global language. This interest led me to complete a B.A. in French Literature, followed by an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, where I explored both the artistic beauty of French and the science of language learning. Over the past 9 years, I have guided learners from many backgrounds toward fluency through patience, structure, and strong encouragement.
I believe language learning should feel human and engaging rather than stressful. My teaching style emphasizes communication first, helping students speak with confidence while gradually strengthening grammar accuracy. I use conversation practice, listening activities, writing support, and cultural exploration to build balanced language ability. Each student receives lessons tailored to their pace, ensuring they feel supported at every stage.
Outside teaching, I stay connected with French through novels, films, cultural research, and continuous study of modern teaching methods. Teaching French is meaningful because I see learners transform from uncertainty into confident expression, gaining a voice in a language that once felt unreachable.
