About Sylvie
Sylvie holds a Graduate Diploma from the Sorbonne in Expression and Communication with a specialisation in Media and has experience in initial and professional teaching in France for both children and adults. Since her arrival in London, she has taught French as a foreign language for the B.B.C (British Broadcasting Corporation) and in secondary schools within the CNED system for French who are pursuing a double degree. She has been successful in teaching French lessons to private individuals and groups of students ranging from beginners to advanced. She has also prepared students for exams like ISEB, GCSE, IGCSE, BACCALAUREAT, CNED.

My teaching method is varied, versatile and personalised. Considering that each student is unique and has their own experience of learning another language, I will teach French with flexibility and with a differential approach by explaining through different methods and ways with lots of examples to illustrate. I will write down a lesson plan with the topic and objectives for each lesson. Lessons will be at the student's pace to help them build step by step their French skills and get ready for their exams.
