Having taught French to students in middle school through university, I am prepared to work with learners of any age group or proficiency level.
I favor a communicative approach to language teaching. This means that I like to use French as much as possible during lessons, at a level that is comprehensible to the learner. Of course, I do not hesitate if further explanation is necessary in English.
I have spent many months living in France and on some of its overseas island departments. This experience has provided depth to my understanding of both the French language and Francophone culture as it exists in different parts of the world.
