About Harriet
I am a friendly and enthusiastic TEFL teacher and fluent Mandarin speaker, with more than eight years of experience teaching and tutoring both in person and online in China and the UK. As a passionate linguist, I offer high quality, bespoke online TEFL tutoring to Mandarin speakers of all ages and levels, but specialise in teaching young learners, having spent many years teaching in bilingual Early Years education. I also offer Mandarin tutoring to beginners of all ages using a TEFL style approach.

Each one of my lessons is unique - customised to suit an individual's needs and enable all to maximise their potential. Sessions will focus on developing listening, speaking, reading and writing using a fun and interactive approach, whilst being tailor-made to suit the learner's individual goals.
You won't find a better service to help improve your language skills. I build effective relationships using my bilingual English and Mandarin capabilities, I devise relevant and relatable lessons using my knowledge of both Western and Chinese culture, and I draw upon my extensive experience of teaching across China.
