About Rukiya
have a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, giving me a strong academic foundation in Science. I also have experience studying education through a Secondary Science PGCE, which developed my understanding of lesson planning, adapting explanations and supporting different learning needs.

My approach is supportive, structured and tailored to each student’s starting point. I aim to build confidence as well as knowledge, using clear explanations, worked examples, regular practice questions and gentle checking for understanding throughout the lesson.
For KS3 and GCSE Science, I break difficult topics into simple steps and link them to real-life examples. I help students strengthen their subject knowledge, learn how to answer exam-style questions effectively and develop revision methods that they can use independently. Lessons can cover Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with a focus on the areas the student finds most challenging.
