About Mika
Hello! My name is Mika.
I am a native Japanese speaker from Japan Tokyo, and I have lived in Australia for 12 years.
I love helping people learn Japanese in a simple, natural way. I understand what it is like to learn a new language and live in a different country, because I have done it myself. This experience helps me understand my students' challenges.
I don't have a formal teaching certificate, but I care a lot about my students. I am patient, friendly, and easy to talk to. My goal is to help you feel confident speaking Japanese, step by step.

I like simple, natural conversation more than grammar rules. My goal is to help you feel comfortable speaking Japanese in real life — like ordering food, talking with friends, or traveling.
My lessons feel like a relaxed chat, not a strict class! We talk about topics you like. I will correct mistakes and teach useful words during the lesson. No pressure — just a comfortable space to practice.
30 minutes or 60 minutes. You can choose!
I am a native Japanese speaker. I have lived in Australia for 12 years. I don't have a teaching certificate, but I know what it feels like to learn a new language and live in a different country. I understand beginners well.
