About Ezra
I've been teaching for over ten years at all different levels, and found the process deeply rewarding. My goal is to be the support I would like to have had. As well as tutoring I teach English and Creative Writing at university (undergrad and MA level), and volunteer mentor writers from underprivileged backgrounds, and run weekly zoom sessions to communities in Uganda.
I'm in my 30s, Scottish, non-binary, and love to paint and hang out with my dog, River.

I tailor every lesson to each student. I teach creative writing in a thoughtful and holistic way, through attention to detail and encouragement. Mostly I work with adults and students age 13+ but I have occasionally made exceptions. Every student is different, so I'm flexible on time length/number of lessons.
