Stephen made learning an incredibly fun experience. He took the time with every student and effortlessly had everyone participating and having a good time.

Stephen is a very friendly and knowledgeable tutor. He was accommodating to all of the students despite their different backgrounds and ability levels. If I ever felt confused about certain aspects of the course, he was very approachable and helpful.

Having spent 20 hours being taught by Stephen I cannot recommend him highly enough.
His lessons are fun, interactive and highly educational. This along with his extremely professional conduct throughout make him a valuable asset to anyone looking to learn.

The course Stephen headed was fantastic and his method of teaching was both extremely informative and incredibly fun. One section of the course involved Stephen teaching us a lesson in German as a demonstration of how to teach a language to someone whose native tongue you don't speak. I came away from this particular section knowing more German than I learnt in 3 years of classes at school. We were shown numerous different teaching techniques that can be used to get language across, taught a lot of grammar points that will be needed and shown some of the more clerical elements involved in being a tefl teacher, amongst many other things. I came away from the course feeling significantly more prepaired for teaching English abroad. Stephen has inspired me to look at tefl as a full-time career rather than a way into teaching in England, which is perhaps the highest compliment I can give. Cannot recommend enough.

Steve is such a great teacher! He doesn't teach in the traditional way of being seated all day long, writing notes, and learning useless information, instead the lessons were very interactive, fun, and useful. I learnt so much more and so much more successfully by being able to communicate with Steve and fellow students and learn what was needed to learn. Everyone had the opportunity to get up, move around, talk, and laugh, and for this, Steve earned everyone's respect. Everything I learned on the three-day course is ingrained because of the methods Steve used. I would definitely recommend him as a trustworthy teacher!

Through Stephen's dynamic and active approach to teaching the TEFL methodology, I was able to walk away having gained a great deal of practical knowledge both in how best to plan lessons, and deliver them.

Allowing the class to experience first-hand the position of the student through some role-playing, it allowed us to understand the position of both student and teacher holistically. We were even able to learn some German as a bonus!

I would have no hesitation in recommending Stephen in any form of teaching position, whether it be in language or as a general instructor. His patience and friendliness created a great atmosphere that fostered easy learning, and allowed for experimentation without fear of failure or embarrassment.

Easily one of the best teachers I've had, and greatly appreciate the time he has given in instructing me to become both a better language learner, and teacher.
