About Daniel
Hi, my name is Danny Green. I am a professional songwriter, and guitar and music production teacher based in Rode, close to Frome, Trowbridge, Bath, Norton St Philip. DBS registered. I teach from my home studio. I have been teaching for eight years, and I am known for my easy-going manner and fun lessons. I have led many workshops, holiday camps and term time group courses with various music services and I continue to offer private lessons for adults and students aged 6 years and above. I believe strongly that our early experiences of learning music can shape our lasting love of playing and appreciating music. I strive to make my lessons as educational and fun as possible. I am a very patient teacher and I aim to foster a true love of learning music as well as a well-rounded grounding in musical theory. As a guitar teacher, I teach acoustic and electric, pop, rock, folk, classical and theory which includes finger picking and strumming and reading music from both traditional musical notation and tablature/tab. If you are keen to take your exam grades, I can guide you through this. As a creative songwriter myself, I encourage singing and songwriting during my lessons. As a published songwriter and producer, I have an in-depth knowledge of music production and I teach music production using Logic Pro and Garageband. Please feel welcome to contact me to discuss. I started guitar lessons with Danny just before Xmas and it's been great! For my first lesson, I was half an hour late to arrive because of a traffic accident on route to the lesson. Danny was so understanding and made me feel very much at ease even though I was flustered and stressed about the delay. We then got stuck into the lesson and I felt very comfortable and supported by Danny's calm and encouraging teaching style. Highly recommend Danny as a tutor.
I am loving my lessons with Danny. A great balance of learning new techniques and learning new songs to play and sing.
