About Felicity
Hi, I’m a passionate singing tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater Voice. I’ve had the joy of working with students of all ages and levels—from school beginners to college learners and adult professionals. My goal is to offer personalized, engaging lessons that help each student grow in their own unique voice. I specialize in classical, pop, movie, and folk singing, tailoring my teaching style to suit your musical interests. Whether you're preparing for a performance or just singing for fun, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My lessons focus on building vocal confidence through safe, healthy techniques and a supportive learning atmosphere. I also incorporate ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to create a well-rounded musical experience. Lessons are interactive, practical, and designed to keep you motivated. I pay close attention to vocal habits and provide clear tools for improvement. Every voice is different, and I believe in nurturing each one with care and encouragement. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, refining pitch accuracy, and unlocking true vocal expression. I work closely with each student to create a supportive space where they feel comfortable taking vocal risks and exploring their sound. For students like The Fiddler and The Music Major, I offer tailored techniques that align with their musical background and goals.
We begin with breath control exercises to strengthen vocal support and stamina. Vocal warm-ups are paired with routines that promote long-term vocal health and prevent strain. Pitch accuracy is improved through regular ear training using apps and interactive exercises. Metronomes help develop timing and rhythm, especially for those integrating voice with instruments.
I also encourage the use of recording tools to track progress and reflect on tone, clarity, and expression. Lessons include stylistic coaching to match each student’s preferred genre while expanding their range and versatility. Whether performing solo or in ensemble settings, students grow more expressive and confident with each session.
Most importantly, I help students believe in their voice. With structure, encouragement, and consistent practice, they learn to sing with purpose and presence.
