About Laura
Hi I'm Laura. I have a degree in health sciences and Spanish and almost 5 years of experience giving face-to-face and virtual private classes. I am also an entrepreneur in the education industry specializing in assisting with applications to American universities. I have a passion for languages and teaching others the personal and collective benefits of being bilingual. I am looking for motivated students of all levels.

Before starting, I always meet with each student to assess his or her needs, understand his or her learning style, and set goals to work towards during the classes. My personal style involves mixing multiple learning methodologies through activities involving art, conversation, reading, and videos for example. I strive to make my classes very personalized by incorporating the hobbies or interests of each student, which proves to be more effective and engaging. I always promote a judgment-free, positive, and growth-mindset environment for my students. I have about 5 years of experience tutoring students in various subjects like English, natural sciences, Spanish, and college prep for applying to universities in the United States. Currently, I have openings for students ages 5 and older, adults included. I look forward to meeting you! :)
