About Spencer

I'm a full-time engineer in the aerospace industry with a deep passion for energy and transportation. I hold both bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering, and I've spent over 1000 hours tutoring students in physics—mostly at the college level, though I’ve also helped high schoolers prepare for finals, AP exams, the MCAT, and other courses. Teaching and seeing my students grow is one of my greatest passions, and I hope to channel this into a future career in education.

About the lesson

Ready to tackle physics with a fresh perspective? In our lessons, I break down complex concepts using real-world comparisons, making them easier to grasp and remember. I’m committed to working through each problem in as much detail as you need, ensuring you walk away with a solid understanding, not just the right answer. I’m all about working through each problem in as much detail as you need, ensuring nothing is left unclear. Plus, we'll have some fun along the way—because learning physics doesn't have to be a drag. Let’s make those tricky concepts click and boost your confidence in no time!

Spencer has excellent knowledge while also being very considerate in his teaching method. He inspires his students to learn openly rather than feel uneducated or not confident.
I felt like he explained the calc concepts to me in a digestible way without making me feel lesser for not understanding it off the bat.
Highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend Spencer highly enough! He was instrumental in helping me prepare for the MCAT and achieve As in my college physics courses. Spencer has a deep understanding of the material and a talent for explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
What truly sets Spencer apart is how approachable he is. I always felt comfortable asking questions, no matter how basic, and he created an encouraging learning environment. Despite being so friendly and easy to talk to, Spencer was incredibly thorough, ensuring I fully understood each concept before moving on.
Thanks to his guidance, I was able to improve my problem-solving skills and gain a solid grasp of challenging topics. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated tutor, Spencer is the best choice you can make!
