About Justin
I am a fully certified high school ELA and Social Studies teacher with ten years of experience. I also taught 5th through 8th graders for 5 years. I am very laid back and believe in students being part of the learning process, not just the recipient. As an educator I concentrate on positive based reinforcement and Universally designed lessons allowing every student the opportunity to access learning and knowledge.

I do, we do, you do, is my approach as a teacher. I start the lesson by modeling the skills that are needed. Then the student and I practice using the targeted skill together. Finally, the student attempts the skill by themselves with my guidance.
I specialize in intensive instruction and trauma-informed practices.
