About Ash
I am teacher of over 20 years in Derbyshire (UK) schools with 10+ years as the Head of Maths gaining my PGCE at the Institutue of Education (London), where the clear distinction between presenting knowledge and actual teaching was made.
I always clearly model the method so students can fully understand the process giving them the best chance at success.
My professionalism and drive to help students succeed was also noted by OFSTED, following their inspection, where they highlighted, “New leaders show real promise. In mathematics, for example, the new leader has accelerated the department’s improvement”. This contributed to an overall OFSTED rating of good for the school.

I use methods that try and reduce the cognitive load, putting together a bespoke plan that will be shared before any start date is agreed as well as initial free chat to find out more about the individual's needs and goals.
Each session is followed by independent study that will be sent via email, to help improve the retention of a new skill.
A short description of what was covered and how the session went will also be in the follow up email.
I specialise in GCSE Maths (AQA-Edexcel-OCR) during the working hours in the UK. (8am to 4pm GMT)
