About Samantha
Hello, I am so pleased and happy to introduce myself.
My name is Sam, and I am from Manchester in the U.K. I am an active, friendly and positive person. In my free time I love running, watching football and relaxing at home with my cats.
I live in Manchester, but I spent four years living and teaching English in Thailand after I graduated. I love meeting people from around the world and learning about new cultures (a big perk of the job!)

I enjoy making my lessons personable, where my students are enjoying the lessons but always working hard.
Learning a language can be daunting, I have years of experience putting my student's at ease and allowing learners to feel confident to practice, make mistakes and master the language. I like to make sure lessons are relatable, and will use plenty of challenging and pushing questions throughout. I also believe feedback is very important and a way to allow for self-reflection and improvement.
I have been teaching English for ten years now, in a wide range of settings to both children and adults. I teach both students living abroad and those living in the English speaking countries.
Whether you are preparing for an exam, looking for work or a confidence boost.. I am confident in my ability to help learners all over the world with their English skills.
I have a Trinity Cert TESOL, which I gained during my English Language Undergraduate Degree and also have Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
