About Naoise

I'm a 27-year-old musician, producer and educator originally from Galway, Ireland. I've been involved in the Irish music sector, playing drums professionally since 2015.
Since starting to play for bands in 2014, I've been teaching, recording and touring throughout Europe, winning the national competition, the ‘Irish Youth Music Awards’ in 2017.
In 2018 I studied at BIMM Music Institute Dublin, graduating from their BA Honors Degree in Commercial Modern Music in 2022. Throughout the course, I specialized in the drum kit as my instrument.
During my final year, I specialized in specific modules such as Drum Kit Teaching, Studio Musicianship and Professional Musicianship, setting him on a path to teaching the drum kit and music as my full-time career.
After graduating, I began teaching full-time in my own drum school. I would also fill in as a sub for Drumadore Drum School in Galway, giving me valuable experience of working with young children with a vast variety of abilities and needs.
I currently play in garage punk band Adore who have released a record, a handful of singles and played multiple gigs throughout Europe. I've been based in Cork and teaching here since April of 2025.

Based in Blackpool, Cork City, Drum Lessons Cork is Cork’s most popular drum kit school for both children and adults of all ages and levels!
I teach in a fun, relaxed and individually focused environment designed to cater to each student's interests, goals and abilities.
Each lesson is delivered at the student's own pace. All topics covered in a lesson are broken down into digestible bites to allow the student to learn in a fun and encouraging environment.
Everyone has different abilities and needs, learning in different ways and at different paces. Teaching one to one allows Naoise to cater to each student's ability, interests and pace of learning.
I encourage my students to pick their favorite songs to learn. Throughout each lesson, the student learns techniques, styles and theory with relevance to the song they’re learning. I found this to be a useful approach which makes the lessons fun, interesting and gives context to the subjects covered.
