About Afeera
Hello! I’m Teacher Feera, a passionate and dedicated history tutor who believes that learning about the past should be meaningful, engaging, and even fun. I work with students of all backgrounds, helping them build confidence, improve their understanding, and develop a genuine interest in history. Every lesson I teach is thoughtfully planned, interactive, and tailored to your personal learning needs. Storytelling with Purpose: I teach history through storytelling — not just dates and facts, but real people, conflicts, and decisions that shaped our world. Interactive Discussions: I encourage students to think like historians — to question sources, consider perspectives, and debate ideas. Visual Learning Tools: I use timelines, mind maps, videos, and primary sources to make complex topics easier to understand. Exam-Focused Skills: For exam preparation, I focus on key writing strategies, source analysis, and how to structure strong arguments. Student-Centered Learning: Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their pace, learning style, and goals. My lessons are usually 60 minutes long, which allows time for reviewing past material, introducing new content, and practicing exam skills. I also offer 90-minute sessions for more in-depth work or revision.
