About Matthew
I have taught social studies for 20 years in a private school located in Georgia. I use a variety of modalities to ignite the interest level which in turn helps with content retention. Many former students have mentioned that they have enjoyed the content as they have continued through school because of the way that I helped them become interested in the subject.

I use a variety of methods in my teaching. There are times of lecture, but I do not want to be classified as your typical social studies teacher. That is boring!
I use role playing activities as well as story telling to immerse into the time periods in which we discuss.
