About Keira

I keep lessons calm, structured and focused on genuine understanding. Whether a student needs help with tricky content, exam technique or building confidence, I tailor each session so they know exactly what to revise and how to approach it. My aim is to help students feel more confident, more organised and fully prepared for their exams. I take professionalism seriously and make sure both students and parents know exactly what to expect in terms of lesson structure, resources and progress. If you’re looking for someone who explains Biology clearly and makes the exam side feel manageable, I’d be happy to help.

About the lesson

I tutor GCSE and A‑Level OCR Biology, and my goal is to make the subject feel far less overwhelming. I explain topics in a clear, simple way, using diagrams, examples and active‑recall techniques so the information actually sticks. We also practise exam‑style questions regularly, because getting used to the wording is half the battle. Lessons are usually one hour, but I’m flexible if you prefer longer sessions. Every lesson is personalised around what you need, whether that’s understanding tricky content, improving exam technique or building confidence with revision. I recently completed the course myself, achieving an A in Biology and A*/B in my other subjects*, so I understand the current specifications and how questions are marked. My aim is to help students feel more confident, more organised and genuinely prepared for their exams.
