I am a GCSE and A level teacher in Citizenship, Geography, History and RE. I currently use AQA, Eduqas, Edexcel and IGCSE but I can adapt to any exam board.

I've known Alec for over 20 years, since our university days, and more recently as a neighbour and fellow church member. He is highly diligent, reliable, and principled. He is also a committed, intelligent and experienced teacher, and a very good educational communicator. He's empathetic and fun too, with a love of football in particular, but above all else, he will always apply maximum focus and energy to the task of helping his students to excel in their learning.

I worked with Alec for over three years as his Head of Faculty for English at a busy inner-London secondary school in a deprived area. Alec is a highly experienced and skilled teacher of English from age ranges 11-18, he has worked with a wide range of student abilities; from those with the highest level of need to those striving for the highest possible grades and has produced excellent outcomes for the students he has taught. Alec is dedicated to ensuring students achieve their very best and is a very reliable individual. He has a particular specialism with students that have a lower level of literacy and those with EAL needs. Alec is an excellent teacher and I was very sad to lose him as a cornerstone of my English department.

Alec has been a close friend of mine for 18 years. I've experienced at first hand how he is a lively, motivating and engaging communicator and inspires confidence.

Alec is a competent and faithful teacher who knows how to teach in a fruitful way carefully considering the learner’s point of view and using appropriate methods of teaching. He has a good sense of humor, easy-going style and high moral.
