About Senumi
I am a First Class Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate currently working as a Graduate Engineer in the automotive and industrial sector. Alongside my engineering career, I have always enjoyed helping others learn and understand new concepts.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing a student finally grasp an idea that they may have been struggling with. I break down complex topics into simpler steps and adapt my explanations to suit each student's learning style. Throughout school and university, I regularly helped friends with their studies, and seeing their confidence grow inspired me to pursue tutoring. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can develop both their understanding and confidence in mathematics.

My approach to tutoring is to first understand how a student views a problem and identify any misconceptions before guiding them towards the correct solution. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind each step, rather than simply memorising methods, so they can apply their knowledge confidently to new problems.
I offer tuition for GCSE and lower secondary school students, with lessons typically lasting between 1 and 2 hours, either online or in person across Brighton, Newhaven, Seaford, and surrounding areas.
Lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether they require support with specific topics or exam preparation. I hold a First Class BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and currently work as a Graduate Engineer, applying analytical problem-solving skills on a daily basis.
