About Alice
I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE English Language, and a grade 8 in GCSE English Literature. I want to teach those who are unable to enjoy English because they find it difficult. I want to help you understand the foundations of our society through your English GCSE in an enjoyable way so you are able to begin reaching for those top grades. I am young, approachable, and best of all, I completely understand the pressure faced by today's youth when taking GCSEs. I have a modern outlook on exams and am aware of exactly how to aim high even when it feels impossible.

Personalised lessons focused on your personal weak areas. These will include, studying exemplar paragraphs - analysis of positive and negative factors within the writing, writing short practice paragraphs and self-marking to understand common mistakes, memory games building quote knowledge in a fun and enjoyable way, as well as expansion of your vocabulary to ensure you are writing in a sophisticated and high-level fashion. I am an approachable and kind 16-year-old girl, passionate about helping people to understand English and how it affects day-to-day life. Lessons will be 1 hour long, targeted at those in year 10 and 11, whether you need extra help to pass or you are wanting to enhance your skills to reach those top grades.
