About Isabella
Hi I’m Bella, I am a year 12 student studying biology, chemistry and maths at A level hoping to go on to medicine in the future. I achieved a grade 9 in maths and grade 8 in further maths in GCSEs and want to help other students to get the best grade they can possibly achieve. I am located in Durham however would find online sessions to be ideal. I currently mentor students in year 11 in maths at my school and help as a classroom assistant too. I love meeting with new people and want to be able to help students who are struggling find maths or further maths easier!

I will work closely with students targeting their weaker topics in maths and helping them to work on methods that they find easier to understand. I also think it is important to ensure the students become very familiar with the format of the exam so would use past exam questions to put their weaker topics into practice so when they are in the exam they find it more familiar and easier. I think it is very important to adapt and find a way that best fits the students' learning as different people take information in different ways so I would like to get to know what most helps the student learning and use that in lessons.
