About Deanna

I am excited to introduce myself as a dedicated Maths tutor with a strong academic background and valuable teaching experience. While I may be new to formal tutoring platforms, I have a solid foundation in mathematics and a proven track record of helping students succeed.

Teaching Style:

My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that every student has the potential to excel in mathematics, and my approach is tailored to meet individual needs. I focus on simplifying complex concepts, using practical examples to make learning relatable, and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Physical Geography from the University of Edinburgh.

Beyond my academic qualifications, I bring a wealth of practical experience as a data-driven Senior E-commerce Manager, where I've consistently applied mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios.

Teaching Experience:

During my last semester at the University of Edinburgh, I had the privilege of teaching mathematics at a local school in Edinburgh. This invaluable experience allowed me to engage with students, refine my teaching methods, and receive exceptional feedback from both students and colleagues. The positive impact I had on my students' understanding and confidence was particularly rewarding.
