With fun to success! Hi, I'm Laura and I have studied German and English / American studied for 10 semesters. I have been tutoring for many years, teaching various grade levels. I have taught kids in grade 5 through highschool-age, as well as students enrolled in a bachelor's university program. My experience of teaching GFL extends to level C1. So far I have only tutored adults in GFL. I myself have lived abroad for 4 years. 2 of which I spent in California, where I acquired my English language skills. Together we will develop a concept, so the teaching is tailored to you. Are you more of a visual type? Do you best remember the vocabulary by interesting pictures? Or are funny (or stupid) mnemonics of more help to you for memorizing grammar? It's important that you actually learn something and have fun in class. In the beginning I will take a look at your textbooks so that we can practice the actual exam material. For younger children, I like to ask which classes they enjoy the most. Then I try to include their personal interests (eg horses, Star Wars, ...) in the tutoring excercises. Sometimes I give little homework, but do not worry! That could be watching a youtube video or reading a Christmas story. No stress ;) Contact me and I'll help you!
