About Edy

I am a very well graduated academic. My parents spoke German, my mother being Swiss German. I am therefore bilingual French-German. I lived or worked in 10 Swiss cantons (especially Basel, Bern, Zurich). I also taught various branches in German (econometrics, mathematics, statistics). Especially in Bern, Basel and St. Gallen. I was also a German-French, German-English translator. I have written a newsletter in German, which appears twice a day. I was an assistant at the Universities of Basel and St. Gallen. I have been teaching German for many years at all levels for children and adults.

About the lesson

I know all the programs and textbooks for German in primary and secondary schools, high schools and A-level. I have had experience of secondary education in private and public school classes for many years, and in private lessons at all levels. I know the Harmos system and Harmos levels 3 to 11. I have practiced home schooling and distant learning for a long time, also to apprentices, students of vocational schools and high schools, and adults. I adapt the methods, textbooks and content to the needs of the students to promote maximum acquisition of knowledge and the raising of marks, grades and averages for school students. I also teach commercial German. I am bilingual French-German and I have 1 German diploma from the Goethe-Institut with the grade "very good". I teach in the Neuchâtel region (and within a 25 km radius), at home or in various places, or online per skype. My prices are decreasing according to the intensity and the number of lessons. For 2 lessons of 60 mins: 30 CHF per hour. For 2 periods of 45 min: CHF 25 per period. For an isolated hour of 60 minutes: 40 CHF. For an isolated period of 45 minutes: 30 CHF. I have a good reputation, an excellent general culture, a perfect knowledge of the French language, which is not the case for all teachers of German. I have good references, numerous attestations and certificates.
