I am a dedicated and qualified German teacher with a strong specialization in teaching German as a foreign language. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of sharing my passion for the German language and culture with students from diverse backgrounds.
Having taught German for three years in Mexico and three years in the UK, I have gained valuable experience in both international and multicultural settings. My teaching expertise spans across various age groups, from primary school students to university students and professionals. For your convenience and flexibility, our classes can be conducted either one-on-one via Zoom or as a group, allowing you to learn with a friend or partner. The group learning option not only fosters a sense of camaraderie but also offers valuable opportunities for peer practice and support. The hourly rate will vary based on the group size.
Moreover, all learning materials will be shared through WhatsApp after each session, allowing you to review the content at your own pace and add personalized notes, further enriching your language learning experience.

Perfect! Larissa is a fantastic tutor!️… my first few lessons with her have been very interactive and fun too! Her materials are great, I would recommend her greatly to anyone starting German from scratch or people who want to further their knowledge already on German. She is very friendly, patient with her students and is happy to answer any questions you have during her lessons!
- Louise brings great motivation to class and has a quick understanding of the grammar structures and vocabulary we have covered in past sessions. As Louise's first language learning experiences were with a language learning app, where she gained some basic vocabulary and sentence structure, we have been covering topics such as "introducing yourself" and "me and my family." We have also been working on grammar topics such as verb conjugation, definite and indefinite articles, possessive pronouns, reading short texts, and writing small paragraphs. - I have been working with Alison's daughter Ellie, preparing her for her GCSE German exam. We have focused on all four areas: listening and reading comprehension, conversation, and writing. Our first sessions were focused on conversational training, vocabulary work, and grammar (tenses and sentence structure). After that, we shifted our focus to exam preparation, introducing Ellie to the GCSE exam format and different question and answer formats, and working on past papers. Very well organised tutor with very good methods that make learning german easy.
Larissa prepared me for my final exam. She worked with me on preparing my first german presentation on "Illegal Immigration". Larissa helped me a lot with the german sentence structure. Larissa gives weekly homework and corrects my essays. The lesson with Larissa is always very productive. Danke Larissa! Bis nächste Woche!I found Larissa on YouTube 6 months ago. She uploaded learning videos for children in German on her channel, explaining primary school maths and German grammar. Since I studied at a German school in Portugal, I had wanted to polish up my German again for a long time. I liked the patient and clear way she explained things in her short videos, so I requested a German lesson. Already in the first lesson I felt really comfortable - I could still remember some of the DaF methods she was using from my school days. The lessons with Larissa are always very relaxed and motivating. I can recommend Larissa very highly.
I've been working with Larissa for many years now. Her passion for teaching and her commitment are extraordinary. She wants so see her students succeed and and she's happy to go the extra mile for it. Larissa accompanied my bilingual daughter once a week with additional private lessons. My daughter still talks about the fun lessons, which included games and handicrafts depending on the topic. Unfortunately, Larissa moved countries and we were no longer able to perceive her excellent services. I can highly recommend Larissa.
Larissa made the lesson incredibly easy to follow and to improve my confidence in speaking. We had very interesting conversations and practiced writing essays. Larissa is the best german teacher I ever had. I met her online when I was looking for a native German tutor to help me preparing for the telc exam. We were working very intensively for 3 months before the exam took place. I saw Larissa during this period 2 times a week and she gave me a lot of additional material so I could study every day a little bit. What I liked the most about Larissa’s classes was that she prepared our classes according to my learning plan which we created after our first trial lesson together. With Larissa I had a feeling of achievement after each lesson. Even though she created the learning videos on her YouTube Channel “lernnomaden” for children, I found them very useful - especially the videos on German grammar.
