About Josh
I am a guitar player from Colorado. I have a degree in jazz guitar, but I am also really into rock and metal music. I have 5 years teaching experience, have taught individual based lessons and in a classroom setting. I have been playing guitar for 16 years and love sharing knowledge. I also studied saxophone, audio production, and music business. So I can help with any of these topics.

I take a goal oriented teaching approach. I focus on what the student is trying to achieve as a musician and give them the tools to get there fast and efficiently. I make sure lessons are fun, I am patient, and I try to make the joy of music a constant (even with the more challenging aspects of learning music). I place high importance on ear training and music theory. I think it’s important for students to understand the mechanics behind what they’re playing so they can have access to it as a tool whenever needed.
