About Gracie
Hi! I'm Gracie, a TEFL-certified English tutor with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I graduated with Highest Distinction. I have experience teaching English in bilingual classrooms in Spain through the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program (NALCAP), mentoring and tutoring students in the United States, and supporting educational programs in Honduras.
I enjoy creating a welcoming and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. Whether you're looking to improve your conversational English, strengthen your grammar and vocabulary, or prepare for school or English language exams, I'll tailor each lesson to your individual goals and learning style.

I believe the best way to learn a language is through encouragement, interaction, and real-world practice. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, focusing on building confidence while improving speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
A typical lesson includes a review of previous material, interactive activities, guided conversation, targeted grammar and vocabulary practice, and personalized feedback. I adapt my teaching style to each learner's age, level, and learning preferences.
I have experience teaching English in bilingual classrooms in Spain through the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program (NALCAP), where I worked with students from preschool through sixth grade and supported Cambridge exam preparation. I have also mentored and tutored students in the United States and worked in Honduras, supporting educational and community-based programs with bilingual communication and student engagement. As a TEFL-certified tutor and fluent Spanish speaker, I understand the challenges of learning a second language and strive to create a positive, supportive learning environment.
My lessons are ideal for children, teenagers, and beginner to intermediate English learners who want to improve conversational English, strengthen language skills, or prepare for school and English language exams.
