As a multi-instrumentalist 4th year student at Brisbane's Conservatorium of Music, I offer personalized piano lessons! As a young and enthusiastic tutor, my objective is to embark on a fulfilling journey of music education for kids. With a passion for music, I desire to ignite the same passion in young learners. As I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that inspires young learners to develop their musical abilities, I also strive to build a strong foundation in music theory and performance. Through personalized instruction and innovative teaching methods, my objective is to instill a lifelong appreciation for music in children, helping them grow as confident and skilled musicians.
Lessons typically include:
• Warm-ups and technique development (hand & arm position, finger strength, coordination)
• Developing a strong, expressive tone and control across the keyboard
• Learning to read and understand sheet music
• Playing songs in styles you enjoy
• Developing listening skills (ear training)
• Music theory taught in a simple, practical way through playing
I use a mix of trusted teaching methods and personalized exercises, with clear guidance to help students practice effectively at home.
