About Steven

Hello all, I’m coach Steven Kittinger, a performance-focused golf instructor with over 10 years of experience in sports coaching and athletic development. With a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management, I bring not only technical golf expertise but also a comprehensive understanding of how athletes learn, progress, and compete. As a certified personal trainer through ACSM, a former Athletic Director, and a competitive junior golf coach with over two years of focused experience, I take a holistic approach to training golfers. I'm currently pursuing certification with the United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF) to further enhance the instructional quality I deliver. My Coaching Approach My method combines technical swing mechanics, athletic movement training, and mentorship—ideal for golfers who want to play smarter, swing freer, and improve faster. You’ll receive: A complete swing analysis with detailed video feedback Tailored drills that target specific faults (not just general tips) One-on-one coaching via an online platform (flexible and personalized) A training plan that accounts for your physical capabilities and playing goals Whether it’s early extension, a steep transition, an inconsistent release, or lower-body sequencing, I help you understand and correct the root causes—not just the symptoms.

As a certified coach with a background in sports performance and personal training, my teaching method blends biomechanical precision with tailored coaching strategies. I focus on understanding your unique swing patterns, physical limitations, and goals to build a smarter, more efficient game.

Every student receives a comprehensive swing analysis using video feedback. From there, I craft custom drills and practice routines that target your specific swing faults—whether that’s early extension, casting, over-rotation, or sequencing issues. My online platform enables real-time feedback, progress tracking, and flexible scheduling.

A Typical Lesson Plan
Each session is structured for clarity, development, and measurable improvement:

Swing Analysis & Review – Break down video clips with commentary

Focused Drill Work – Prescribed exercises targeting root swing issues

Movement Coaching – Address mobility or stability factors (e.g., hip turn, lead leg stability)

Live Q&A or Practice Guidance – You get real-time coaching and clear next steps

Follow-up includes drills, progress summaries, and checkpoints for self-practice.

What Sets Me Apart
Biomechanics-informed instruction – I combine golf-specific training with athletic movement principles.

Personalized, not packaged – No cookie-cutter drills. Every student gets a customized roadmap.

All-Access Learning – One-on-one attention, ongoing support, and resources to keep improving between lessons.

I also bring years of experience in golf fitness, so we can improve swing mechanics and body function simultaneously—ideal for preventing injury and increasing power.

Who My Lessons Are For
Beginner to Intermediate players struggling with consistency or power

Competitive juniors or adults looking to tighten up technique before tournaments

Golfers who want online flexibility but still want high-touch, expert coaching

Players rehabbing from injury or managing physical limitations
