About Freya
I want to instil confidence into students walking into any and every exam. I feel like maths is very much something that once you get it you get it, and it is not the “talent” that people make it out to be. A few years ago I was really struggling with maths, but after hard work and persistent studying, I came out with a 9 at GCSEs. I want other people to experience that feeling of joy when they see a great grade on that piece of paper. At my school we teach Year 6 students various things, I teach poetry, and so I know how to make learning fun while being professional.

I will be able to teach you my revision techniques that enabled me to get a 9, patiently go through the spec with you, and make maths fun!! We can do quizzes, past papers, games, watch videos, etc. I am available after school and on weekends, lessons could be any length necessary, probably around an hour!! I would primarily like to teach GCSE, especially as I did it so recently so feel I could really be helpful as I understand the course, but also anyone younger is fine too. I am great with kids and babysit regularly, and also often help others with maths work.
