About Veronica
Hey, I’m Veronica. I’ve been studying guitar since I was 6 and since then I’ve done all of my grades and had distinctions on all of them (100% on my grade 8). Throughout my years of playing I have always dreamed of teaching other people and passing on my knowledge and passion. I have taught students of all ages and a big class of students and I am very grateful to have done so. I am a very patient, outgoing, confident person and will always adapt my style of teaching to my students needs and capacity. I have also done my grade five theory and piano (these skills will be helpful with the theoretical side of things). I studied music at Peter Symonds College and am now furthering my education and skill at the University of Chichester. I am also in two bands one of which is a covers band called AstroModa and the other one is my originals band called Baby Said.

When teaching, I firstly like to get an idea of where my students are at with playing the guitar. After that step, I will tailor our lessons accordingly. For example, with beginners, I would look at posture and finger style techniques to help adapt to the fret board. Then I would introduce some chords, scales and songs that require moving around the fret board confidently. I believe that everybody should have the chance to experience a brilliant music education. Whether you are a parent wanting to give your child the best possible start, or an adult wanting to begin or continue your own musical journey.
