About Natalie
My approach to tutoring is always to break down barriers and encourage honesty. I used to be far too scared to ask questions to my teacher at school, but this is why I firmly believe one-on-one tutoring can help even the most apprehensive students excel.
I teach at GCSE level, for the AQA exam board. I have obtained top grades at GCSE (All grade 9s, highest achievable) and am constantly excited to learn and support someone whose shoes I have almost certainly been in before.

I set up shared Google documents (accessible at all times for both student and teacher, and free) with several tabs, which include but are not limited to: exemplar exam questions, homework, key terminology bank, lesson plans, resources etc.
During a lesson, this document can be edited in real time making the marking of questions and addition of resources incredibly easy. This has made a writing-heavy subject far easier to teach online.
Geography is a subject where the actual memorisation of facts and figures has to come from the student - however, the question structure and application of knowledge at GCSE are imperative to practise and this is where a tutor can be make-or-break in order to obtain a desired grade.
