Played in big bands and in Lancashire Youth Jazz Orchestra for a few years. I play at university a lot and I’m currently the musical director of two jazz bands. I’m classically trainee to grade 8 but I play a range of styles on the trumpet. I can suit your needs completely

It’s been proven that you learn stuff better when you have fun doing it and you want to improve. My aim is to get people playing the trumpet or the french horn and to have fun doing it, which will make the learning process easy and fast. My methodology stems very much from my own learning experience since I’ve had 8 years of continuous lessons. It mainly means playing stuff that you want to play. I’m very hands on and I bring my own instrument to every lesson, I will play along with my students because that’s what I love to do! I have plenty of resources and music books that you can borrow and we can play them together. I’ll also provide technique tips, ranging from how to improve embouchure and increase range, to how to get a lovely sounding tone from your instrument.
