About Brooke
I have tutored dozens of Organic Chemistry students over the last 7 years. I am familiar with all aspects of the class. I also help Biochemistry and General Chemistry students (both high school and university level).
I love using my knowledge and skills to help other people learn. I enjoy the challenge of new problems, different learning styles, varying personalities and working together to learn. I worked as a Teaching Assistant at my university for 3 years in the Chemistry Department and have thousands of hours of teaching experience both in front of a class and one-on-one. I was a department tutor for one year, tutoring both at the high-school and university level. In high school, I worked for a tutoring company for 2 years and worked with elementary to high school aged students.
I scored high in the math portions of the ACT and SAT. I received the 4th highest score among 300 students on the department final for my university Calculus course. I have been an A student in math my whole life. I have been a TA for general and organic chemistry courses for three years at my university and am well practiced in helping others learn how to apply math to word problems and conceptual questions.

I specialize in pre-med chemistry courses (general, organic and biochemistry). I ask my students to send me topics or relevant practice material ahead of time so that I can take time to review before we meet. I enjoy walking through basic concepts with students so that they can tackle difficult problems with confidence. All questions are welcome! I use an ipad pencil to work out problems in real time alongside you.
