About Balwant
I have always loved biology and, most importantly, I love teaching it! My fascination with the human body and how it works inspired me to pursue a career as a Diagnostic Radiographer, allowing me to combine my passion for science with healthcare.
I genuinely enjoy helping students understand biology and making topics that may seem complicated feel simple and interesting. Over the years, my students have told me that I have helped them develop a genuine love for science, which is something I’m incredibly proud of.
My aim is to make every lesson engaging, easy to understand, and enjoyable while helping students build both their knowledge and confidence.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient, and focused on making sure you genuinely understand the concepts. I like to break difficult topics down into simple, easy-to-follow steps and use examples, questions, and fun quizzes to help you learn quickly.
Lessons typically last 30–40 minutes, depending on the topic and the student’s needs. I also adapt my teaching style to suit each student, as everyone learns differently.
I have been tutoring for 7 years, working with students and helping them build their understanding, confidence, and exam skills.
My lessons are aimed primarily at secondary school students, and I can adapt the level and pace of teaching according to the student’s age, ability, and individual learning needs.

Balwant maam is a wonderful teacher , so calm and gentle with the students. I remember when she used to teach me and It will be my pleasure to say i was taught by her.
Balwant Kaur is an exceptional Punjabi teacher. Navpreet has been learning with her for two years now, and his progress has been wonderful. Her classes are so interactive, with games and engaging worksheets that keep him involved and excited to learn. She is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in her students, and she makes reading and writing punjabi fun rather than overwhelming. Navpreet has gained real confidence speaking Punjabi at home with family. She also weaves in culture and stories, which keeps learning meaningful. We're very happy with the progress and would highly recommend her.
Great interaction and teaching with Balwant Kaur
