About Sofia
I am a graduate of City College in New York City with a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education, and I’m currently completing a Master's in Special Education. Over the past six years, I’ve been dedicated to preparing myself to help others grow and learn, and I’m always eager to seize opportunities to continue this journey. In addition to my studies, I teach a second-grade class in Manhattan and lead a children's gardening group at the New York Botanical Garden. Having grown up in this program, I gained invaluable hands-on experience working with nature and learning about environmental conservation. I’m passionate about bringing this knowledge and appreciation into my classroom, all while fostering each student’s individual growth and skills.
