About Lauryn
I am Lauryn, I am 28 and I graduated from my Master's degree in Cultural and Critical Theory in 2022. I have a passion for learning and reading, which is something I hope to inspire in others while tutoring. My main area is Philosophy, with a focus on Critical Theory. I wrote my MA thesis on Existentialism and Literature. I currently work full time, but I want to keep my interest in Philosophy alive by tutoring students in the evenings. Outside of this, my hobbies include reading, crafting and music. I am a guitarist and aspiring banjo player, and I enjoy going to festivals and seeing live music when I can.

I can help with essay writing and exam preparation, and I am passionate about the subjects I tutor in. My passion for these subjects is something which I hope I can inspire in those who choose me as a tutor.

Perfect! Lauryn tutors my son who is doing A-level philosophy. She is very friendly and approachable, she is always well prepared and send him notes outside of the lesson time to help him. I am so glad we found her as she knows the subject well and is excellent with young people too.

Lauryn helped tutor me through my Philosophy A-Level and continued to help and support me through my Philosophy degree. She's a fantastic mentor, with patience and kindness and makes me laugh without fail.
I couldn't recommend Lauryn enough, as she's a good part of why I have my degree today.View more recommendations
