About Alex
While I was a student at Clark College, I worked as a tutor for college algebra and below including high school level algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and pre calculus. I have experience tutoring students at all levels of life from kids in middle school to ESL students in their fifties going back to school for a degree.
I am a fully certified tutor, having received the best training Clark had to offer, and in 2021, I was given an Oswald award from the school for my services.

In tutoring math, I help my students by guiding them to the right answer and helping them strengthen their confidence in themselves. No matter the problem, I will always put my students’ needs first, meeting them at their level so that I can best assist them in succeeding. I am not someone who will give out the answers and I’m also not someone to be satisfied with one right answer. I fully believe that practice makes perfect, especially when it comes to mathematics!
