About Natasha
Hi! I am a graduate with honors from the University of California, Davis from their world-renowned Animal Science program. My background has given me experience in many subjects from chemistry, to various mathematical subjects (up through calculus), and to humanities as well. I tutored students throughout my college career at the student learning center and currently tutor clients in person in the Bay Area. I am enthusiastic and am always looking at a way to improve my student's understanding of a topic or subject.

I tutor through subjects of mathematics (from algebra, geometry, trigonometry through calculus), general chemistry, Humanities/English, and biology. I can teach a wide array of subjects and adapt my teaching style to fit the needs of my client. I think outside the box and take my time with each concept so that my student can walk away from the session knowing that they understood the topic at hand. I can explain topics and subjects in a multitude of ways and check to insure that the topic was understood. When it comes to writing essays and papers, I focus on the general argument and structure of the paper, look for ways to strengthen the thesis, and then go into talking about cohesion, and grammar. Typically, I ask what my student wishes to go over or points of confusion and then go from there. I give lessons to middle school through college students for the various subjects described above. Furthermore, I teach and promote executive skill development as I encourage students to learn to take responsibility for their own learning as we progress through our sessions which gains their skills both inside the classroom and outside of it.
