About Samantha
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. Throughout my years in college I have tutored students in chemistry and math. Additionally, I tutored elementary and secondary level students in English and math as well. I enjoy helping others reach their academic goals in which ever subject they choose.

My lessons include reviewing past materials and areas of concern that the student might have. I like to get to know the student and learn about what they would want to get out of each session. The first portion of my lessons generally are open to any questions about any current or past material the student is studying, then on to any homework help. Third, I like to provide some practice questions for the student to ensure that they have an understanding of the material they are working on. Each student is vastly different and the approach I take with each student varies. Sometimes, I plan educational games to make learning more fun, and sometimes I find all I student needs is clarification in one area. It’s important to understand who the student is and how they learn best to achieve the desired end goal.
