• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  Interest in my chosen field was developed after my secondary school leaving certificate where I was motivated to study maths seeing my results. Development from private tutoring also arose from an individual interest in my field which helps me till now develop my way of thought and approach much faster.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  The subjects I teach are majorly math fields at any level depending on the urgency like quantitative methods, statistics, etc. These are all interrelated and any field-related can be treated with ease.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  No real models from teachers who inspired me but I think I remember Uncle Joe and Dr. Adesanya.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  The qualities required for being a good tutor are the effective delivery of teaching, good diagrammatic aids because pictures do speak more than words, positive feedback from students, and most importantly, self-research.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  An amazing thing that got me motivated was the teaching environment which was conducive, and the efforts for teachers to get students on their feet knowing their abilities to several topics discussed or treated extensively.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  Well, my minor challenge was just inconsistent practice before a given assessment and not asking sufficient questions where necessary.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  Teaching in general had been my passion and even led me to study Data Analytics for my Master's here in Ireland

• What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions)?

  What makes me a convinced Superprof is to understand the actual needs of the student academically and deliver according to the specifications stated and met.
