I draw on ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary sources to show how ideas evolve and respond to one another over time. This historical depth helps you see how Kant builds on Descartes, how Nietzsche reacts to Plato, or how existentialists like Simone de Beauvoir respond to centuries of ethical thought. Understanding this development gives students a stronger sense of how philosophy works as an ongoing conversation.
