My name is Miss Holcomb! I am an Oklahoma State University graduate, my degree is in Elementary education with a minor in Special Education. I have experience working with English Language Learners! My favorite subject is Math, though English has been my passion in teaching. I believe that no child is a “struggle reader” as they only need to learn the foundational skills to increase their skills!

Welcome to my virtual class! English is a complex language and many students may need additional help in phonic, spelling, grammar! As an educator I push a strong emphasis on English, learning the phonetics, and guiding students background knowledge to help gain their confidence and reading experience! Learning how to spell and decode words help many students learn how to decode words thus, increasing reading comprehension, text fluency, and their vocabulary!
