About Jack
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Oregon State University, where I designed my own degree program centered on understanding people, systems, and stories from around the world. That foundation, paired with my experiences as a copywriter and ghostwriter, and hands-on work in theater, film, and community education, means I know how academic rigor translates into real-world career paths. I work with middle schoolers and high schoolers who are navigating everything from five-paragraph essays to college application writing, and I tailor my approach to fit each student's pace, strengths, and goals. Whether you're struggling to get started or just need someone to help you sharpen what's already there, I'll meet you exactly where you are.

I work as a freelance copy and ghostwriter and love to write in my free time, meaning I live and breathe storytelling. My experiences acting and producing theater and film projects, teaching improv classes at a Boys & Girls Club, and doing communication and development work with local non-profits make me a Swiss Army Knife for students looking to sharpen their reading and writing skills, find their voice on the page, or step into their power on stage.
