About Jordan
Hi, my name is Jordan! Here's a little bit about me.
I am a recent 22 year old graduate with a BS degree in Ecology from Susquehanna University. My native language is English, and I am decent in Spanish. I am currently learning Japanese.
Teaching what I know is nothing new to me. I taught swimming lessons for a few years when I was a teen. I remember that it was very fun and rewarding to watch my students swim on their own by the end of the term. I now venture into the world of online teaching hoping that I can find the same success in teaching valuable skills in speaking, reading, and writing English. I earned my certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in the Spring of 2022 to teach English abroad next year. In the meantime, I would like to teach people who are seeking to learn English for any reason from the comforts of our homes. I want to be the bridge of understanding and guide you to the world of communicating with others who speak English.

I have a fun and uplifting approach when it comes to teaching. My lessons are curated to be unique to everyone. I like to set up a time to discuss goals and desires prior to the learner's first lesson. Whatever it is my student wants to learn about English whether it be grammar, business vocabulary, or understanding the cultural significance behind certain sayings, I will provide the virtual space to acquire such knowledge. I have special interests in the ecological field, so I offer a unique perspective and expertise there when it comes to sharing environmentally conscious vocabulary amongst other fun facts that come along with that. These lessons are designed to fit the individual so anyone of any age is welcome!
